What a busy first week back we have had! The children have enjoyed learning about Diwali and Bonfire Night.
They have learned a song and listened to a story about a Hindu family celebrating Diwali and have spent time colouring in 'Rangoli' patterns.. On Thursday we lit candles and Mr Seller made Onion Bhaajis for us to eat.
On Friday we found out why we have fireworks and bonfires on November 5th- the children have made large scale firework pictures and they have also had the opportunity to explore batteries and wires and make a circuit to make a bulb light up. Here are some photographs....
