Year 1/2 children have had the most amazing time at Stover Country Park. We went as part of our science curriculum to learn more about habitats, food chains, microhabitats and minibeasts. The rangers were so knowledgeable and we learnt so much from them!
The children got to do some minibeast hunting, pond dipping to see what wildlife live in ponds and we went on our own nature trail walk. On the walk, children were using their senses to think about what they could hear, see, smell and feel. They are now going to be writing a poem linked to this back in school.
Take a look at a selection of photographs that were taken from our fantastic visit.
