Year 3 Maths - 11th February

Thursday

Today we are looking at calculating the perimeter of a shape - the perimeter means the distance around the outside of a 2D shape.

If you have a ruler at home, use it to measure each side of a book. Add up the lengths of all four sides - what is the perimeter of your book?

Here is a video to help you - https://vimeo.com/470181789 You will need a ruler for today's worksheet (Where it says use wool, we recommend you use a ruler instead and record the measurement in cm). Here is your worksheet for today

If you fancy a challenge, or do not have a ruler at home, complete this worksheet instead Worksheet Two
